Wanted to put the first decorative patch I ever made (trackies that they were originally on have been retired into the scrap box) onto the first quilt I ever made but it was slightly too big, so it’s gone on the equally deserving first (and so far only) quilt I ever patchwork repaired which made me realise that I like patchworking and quilting.

Adding more patches to Middle’s favourite quilt which became my first patchwork quilt (very old one that I repaired not one I made). Cats not helping. Too hard to work around, too cute to move. Ergh.

Wanted to make a tie blanket, found out polar fleece sheds microplastics. Natural materials apparently don’t work as well. Some 100% cotton fabric and bamboo wadding and quilting supplies later I’m accidentally trying to learn how to quilt.
