why do I have pretty much no control over this head-universe
Trying to get this tail to wrap neatly has been an interesting experience.

I’ve tried going forwards cleaning up everything between keyframes and going backwards from the shapes I wanted to end on and it seems I can break everything whichever way I do it so I’ve kept inching forwards as that seems to break things slightly less.
I did eventually work out it was because I was hyperfocusing so hard on making the tail wrap nicely that I completely ignored where on the tail he’d grabbed her in the first place. So that’s a lot of very gentle adjustments which will hopefully assist with micromovements anyway as he would have to regrip after the initial grab to end up where they ended up.
On the bright side I managed to find the tail bones that were missing segmentations (I’m not sure how I missed them before, must have not turned the correct bone layer on when I did it initially) so it curves nicely now.

Today’s project work time got filled up with errands again. I’m really hoping this is the last of it for a while and I can just do my thing in peace for a bit.
