• AEfter Ragnarok

It’s been a period of time. Two people I know have died recently from two different cancers, another has been diagnosed with yet another type of cancer, I think I did get my yearly chest infection but at least it only lasted for a day this time. I’ve had to fill in at work a bit for various reasons which ate into project work time and also had a few things happening around the house (youngest got a new bed which required rearranging his entire room which is still in progress and there is furniture everywhere and I cracked it and attempted a deep clean of the computer room and only got it half done as I started late and didn’t finish and have yet to resume) which…also ate into project work time.

I had to cancel on my roleplaying crew as my brain was glitching horribly and tried to work on 3d but got stymied by some Plasma update seeming to do something or other with drivers (as far as I can tell the built in Plasma tablet drivers have suddenly started violently interfering with the XP Pen drivers, if the XP Pen driver is active the stylus is incapable of moving the cursor but the remote works, if I turn the XP Pen driver off the stylus moves the mouse but I can’t use the remote, so I am having to destroy my shoulder using the actual keyboard all of the time, and also the pen is doing my head in because the built in driver apparently only recognises any changes made to the first pen button and the second one acts like it’s hard coded to toggling an eraser which is completely useless to me in Blender, and I should probably file a bug report about it at some point) completely broke my usage and I’d had more than enough of everything so got mad that there was yet one more stupid thing directly in the way and played Minecraft with sibling dearest for the entire day instead.

I kept building my road between villages and we laughed about her basically ending up carrying around an inventory of full bundles and complaining for about a real life hour that she REALLY REALLY REALLY needed to return to base and not pick up any more stuff. Quote of the night was along the lines of “for the first time in my life I hope I don’t come across any more treasure…is that a sunken ship?!”

She did make it back to base eventually where I was hanging out after returning much earlier after running out of cobblestone.

And I did eventually manage to get the eyebrows and eyelashes done (I’m pretty sure it’s again as I’m pretty sure I have done it before).

I don’t know why the hair keeps doing that though; previously it was something to do with one of the settings which I had fixed but something has come undone.
