I upgraded the kid's account for the scrapbook function. Hurray. Theoretically it should encourage me to post more photos but that requires me putting in the effort to process the photos :P

Anyway.

Yay the kids are down at a reasonable time!

Tao's been trying to drop his nap for the past few ages with varying degrees of success. Today he had a nice short nap and then after a few trials and tribulations (ie Ru wanted a feed and she gets priority, then she went and stayed on for about an hour) I got him to sleep quite quickly.

I am now exhausted as I fed both of them to sleep.

But it's all good.

So I thought I should post a couple of photos so that people from AB didn't start firing miscellaneous toys at me so here they are. Plus jassalol probably wants to see what they're looking like these days since he hasn't seen them since Ruan's early days.

Lessee, what's been happening. My camera is being dicky which is the sole reason why I haven't been taking a lot of photos. Tiny is developing in leaps and bounds, I am still shitty with my grandmother for teaching Tao the "mine mine mine" thing but other than that he's going good. Sentences are starting to tumble out of that little mouth, proper sentence fragments including joining and vaguely abstract words (and, then, there, that etc) rather than a bunch of words he's familiar with jammed together. He's sleeping better too, and he's moved to his toddler bed still in our room but not attached to our bed. He still crawls in with us when he wants a feed and/or a cuddle.

Ruan is lifting her head up properly now (she's been head lifting for a while but with difficulty) as in head all the way up propped up on her arms. She's struggling to crawl too, she can actually commando crawl with a lot of effort but she moves surprisingly quickly when she does. Fortunately you always know when she's crawling coz she fusses a lot while she's doing it. She almost fell between the couch and the ottoman the other day, fortunately she just wedged and Josh rescued her just in time.

My calendar is starting to fill up with kung fu classes and meeting up with Perth homeschoolers weekly. Still need to organise Indo/Mandarin lessons although I think I've lost the phone number so going to have to look at the next community newspaper. Also should organise those music lessons for Tao. I'm so bloody slack. Or tired. Either way.

I should probably try to get some stuff done, got game stuff as well as comic/animation stuff to work on and things to do for the baby board and I also have to finish my character's backstory for roleplaying on Friday. Whee!
