"Speed" paint (wasn't exactly speedy but was pretty quick by my standards :P) inspired by a conversation with quadrapop and Chappie wherein I eventually commented:
"i should see if i can acquisition a small rainbow or just a strip of cloth even, put a large bell on it and wear it as a necklace
then i can sit there and flaunt my dubious sexuality as well as being somewhere with bells on"
I painted over a photo of myself taken with the crappy iMac webcam next to a window with the sun shining directly in and slavishly followed the lighting (and still managed to mess it up as only I can). Trying a variation on my usual style where I painted the light first, I usually do it last. The crappy background and slightly unfinished shirt section is deliberate, it's supposed to be symbolic of my needing to deliberately stop myself on diversions such as this or they turn into epics that occupy a lot of time that then isn't spent on epics I want to spend time on.
