January ProgBlog #2: reworked schedules
There’s only multiple schedules because I have multiple people that I need to work with/around.
With some assistance from sibling dearest which she started off for me like
Spoiler: I have yet to be in bed before midnight x_xI ended up with something that I’m going to be testing and tweaking for a little while til I know what (if anything) needs adjusting or something changes enough to require changing up.
TTRPG writeups: Madcap Redcap Recap #1
Redcaps is a casual game that I suggested to satisfy the roleplaying habit when people are unable to make sessions or aren’t feeling it but everyone else wants to play (the initial proposal went along the lines of “maybe make some madcap redcaps for a casual game for when people are missing”). Not everyone has to be present for every session, and anyone who has an idea can GM. There will probably be story arcs at some point because that’s just how I roll but they’re otherwise essentially a bunch of mostly improv one shots or short runs. The older boys were initially resistant because “Changeling is cringe” until 13yo’s Redcap character in Mercenaries made them all want to play Redcaps.
January ProgBlog #1: mediocre starts
I was intending on trying to get back into the swing of things in the first week of January (including my blogging schedule) with the intention of seeing what in the work schedule that I’d done up (and been vaguely reworking on the fly) needed changing up.
I didn’t end up doing the progblog and the work schedule really does need changing up.
Though most of what I suffer from is the complete inability to keep to anything resembling time, and the fact that I have to be interruptable because JJ is the one with the full time job with defined hours. So what I had was just stuff that needed to get done on what day, and just doing what I could when I could.
Babysitting duty
Apparently to make sure I don’t get carried away I need to use the pencil brushes (I use the sketch and pencil brushes from David Revoy’s brushpack for Krita) rather than the ink pen brush.
A couple of old chaotic little roleplaying characters: Kit the 17yo half-Chinese red-haired Kitsune Eji in Koto form (her name is Kit Fox because I simply couldn’t resist, she copped enough flak for it as was and when she turned out to be a Kitsune she started going by her Chinese name of Yue) and Liana the 14yo Un/Seelie dragon Pooka in Fae Mien (I couldn’t decide if I wanted her to be Seelie or Unseelie so decided to see if I could go straight down the middle and it worked surprisingly well, also you’re not technically allowed to have mythological animal Pooka but the GM allowed it because Liana’s dragon form is 2m long and her breath attack is a rainbow that randomly changes the colour of whatever it touches, it does no damage except possibly to pride, and to add chaos to chaos the GM also allowed her to have a random free-Glamour power of snapping her fingers and having whatever she’s looking at change to a random colour, or if I spent a point of Glamour she could temporarily turn an inanimate object into a random other inanimate object).
Snap!
One of my World of Darkness characters Liana in her fae mien. She’s a 14yo dragon pooka. When she snaps her fingers, whatever she’s looking at or towards changes colour and/or pattern randomly. Make sure you’re the same colours ;)
