So there I am starting an msn convo with Leah when my ever vigilant ferocious guard puppy starts woofing, why coz he is currently unfamiliar with the sound of JJua returning home on his currently brand new bike :) Dog barking wakes boyo up, but he sees Mummy n Daddy and smiles like this - :) which is to say like a frog.

Foodage

[minor pseudonymising edits during Drupal to hugo migration for all the good that will do now] [imported from livejournal and backdated] Tiny ate his first full meal today :) It was a late lunch of almost vegetarian (I say almost because we had a plate of vegetables topped with gravy from the roast place and the gravy had pan juices). He missed the feed he usually has then but he made up for it not long ago with one of the longest feeds he’s had for a while o_O

That's what I forgot

Recently (last couple of weeks) Tiny has started clambering up for cuddles and also giving big open mouth sloppy kisses. Painfully cute :) Also my parents have asked if we want to go over east with them when they go on their annual holiday early next year.

Quick while hes sleeping

[minor pseudonymising edits during Drupal to hugo migration for all the good that will do now] [imported from livejournal and backdated] I’ve had queries from daharja and redstarma as to how the gummyshark is doing so here’s a quickie while he’s asleep ;) He’s crawling like a pro now, I have this photo which I need to put up of him finding out that a chair with wheels can be pushed around the floor, and better yet he can walk around the floor while pushing this wheelie chair.

Sand

He’s a bit slow on the startup but once he gets going he goes pretty quick, and you’d never believe he’s only been crawling for about 3 days. He was all over the place today, trying to get to the DVDs, the electrical cables and JJ’s comics (which are on the bottom shelf of the bookshelf due to their height).

More updates coz there hasn't been any for a while

I tried to get a photo but it just failed to capture the moment. He’d been working quite hard on it the last couple of days, practising getting his coordination down, and he had managed to accidentally move forward, and plenty more times because it hadn’t occurred to him to move his hands while his legs were pressing forwards, he fell flat on his face.

Cat!

I reached over and patted her, eliciting a whole string of purrs, standard oeprating procedure. Tiny looked over at her, then reached over and touched her nose ET style and said quite clearly “cat” (with a soft “t”).

Who needs natural food anyway

The CMS is a buggy as piece of crap and wigged out (must be cron time) so I figured I may as well cross post here while waiting to see if it actually went through or not :) I was at the vet the other day collecting Ghost from his stay at the hospital removing a complicated double abscess, and flicking through a Pet of the Year book.

Sippy cup

Got him a couple of shirts and some new Bonds suits but haven’t yet bothered to get him more long pants as the weather is slowly warming up.

Rainbow

JJ took him out to go check the mail, and called me out to have a look as well. He said to me “You should have seen his face light up!” What Tiny had done upon spotting the rainbow was that adorable look of wonderment babies get when they encounter something that makes them happy, he’d lifted his head up a bit, then an open-mouthed gummyshark grin had spread slowly across his little face until he was all happy eyes and big gummyshark grin.
