I have decided I'm sick of the state of the house so I'm cleaning it.
I
think they call this nesting instinct. Had to come in useful for
something. Currently working on the kitchen, just taking a quick break
coz I just put Tiny to sleep and Josh is making lunch (or making some
rice to have with leftover casserole at any rate). Then we're going to
clean the kitchen, or maybe I will because apparently he's tired from
not getting enough sleep (he wants 10 hours and is getting about 6 or 7,
and has been doing the bulk of the housework and taking care of Tao coz
my contractions won't slow down when I'm resting and speed up and
occasionally get stronger when I do stuff, I'm that over it that I don't
actually care anymore, which probably makes me a bad mum, but
whatever). Lots of sorting and throwing out and stuff to do.
Feel like cleaning the whole place out and getting rid of stuff that we don't need or use.
Now
he's watching TV. It's Saturday, there's never anything on. Sigh.
Well maybe sport which is probably what he's looking for.
Pregnancy
is going fine. Contraction pain stopped intensifying yesterday which
was nice, so this is the second day it hasn't increased. I have no idea
what the pain level is actually like coz I politely got used to it
again, all contractions are registering as uncomfortable. The main
thing is they're not extra painful and they're not frequent and short
spaced apart (which would mean I'm in labour). And the cervix is nice
and shut, although it's migrated backward. Probably means things are
moving themselves into ready mode. Four weeks before term, and then I
don't have to worry about it anymore.
