“Kids grow up too fast”.
I’m more inclined to believe that kids grow up at a normal rate and that time is distorted by parents taking too long to get used to the phase of development the child is in until they’re well into it and starting to get out of it, or being too self centred at the wrong time.
So we are going to enjoy every single day of Tiny’s life, not because we never know when we may lose him, but because he is an amazing piece of work, something beautiful, the greatest thing that both of us have the privilege to be responsible for, because he deserves the attention, and because we love him ever so very much.
